Cortero ("Cortero," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Opsentra platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), company/agency name, role. |
| Business data you provide | Client records, policy information, leads, email content, call transcripts, and other data you enter or import to operate your business in the Service. |
| Content you create | Videos, images, captions, and scheduling instructions created in Studio for publication. |
| Integration credentials | OAuth tokens and account identifiers for third-party platforms you connect (for example, social media pages, email providers). We store tokens securely and use them only to perform actions you authorize, such as publishing a scheduled post. |
| Usage and device data | Pages visited, features used, timestamps, IP address, browser type, and device identifiers, collected automatically. |
| Payment information | Processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. |
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To execute actions you request, such as publishing content to connected social accounts or sending emails you compose.
- To provide AI-assisted features (for example, drafting replies or summarizing calls) — your data is processed to generate the requested output and is not used to train public models.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
- To detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. Social Platform and Third-Party Integrations
When you connect a third-party account (for example, TikTok, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Google Business Profile, or LinkedIn):
- We receive only the permissions you explicitly grant during that platform's authorization flow.
- We access your connected accounts solely to perform the functions you request (such as listing your pages or publishing content you scheduled).
- We do not post, message, or modify anything on your connected accounts except at your direction.
- You can revoke access at any time from your Opsentra Connect settings or directly in the third-party platform; revocation stops future access, and we delete stored tokens for that connection.
- Each platform's own privacy policy also applies to data handled on that platform.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, payment processing, and communications vendors who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- Third-party platforms you connect: as necessary to carry out your authorized actions.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Cortero, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or disconnect an integration, we delete or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and secure credential storage for integration tokens. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of material breaches as required by law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and correction: you can view and update your account information in the Service at any time.
- Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting us (see below).
- Integration control: connect or disconnect third-party platforms at any time from Connect settings.
- Marketing: you may opt out of non-essential communications by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message.
- California and other state rights: depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights to know, delete, or correct personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. We honor verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
8. Children
The Service is intended for adults 18 and older and for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
10. International Users
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice through the Service or by email.
